Anita Whetstone is Hilltop’s founder and owner. She started Hilltop in 1995. It has grown to include four assisted living facilities and Hilltop Home Care. Hilltop Grand Village, our newest facility, offers complete assisted living apartments. In her free time, Anita likes to downhill ski, kayak, wake board, bike and travel.
Mitchell Bain, executive director, has been with Hilltop since its inception. He was promoted to his present position in January 2005. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and is trained as a CNA. Mitchell takes great pride in being able to help families in their time of need and to earn their trust in Hilltop.

Mary Pagel, MHSA, BSN, assures quality care and safety for Hilltop members and staff by providing critical assessment, staff development and training, policy and procedures, infection control measures and a listening ear to members, families and staff. Her professional experience includes nursing home, hospital, insurance company, home health and now assisted living. She has three young adults and her first grandson. She and her family enjoyed camping for many years, and now Mary likes to read, play card games and bike.
