Thousands visited Hilltop Grand Village during its recent open houses.
An open house for employees and resident families, a private open house for guests associated with the build and business community and a public open house drew crowds of people to tour Wisconsin Rapids’ resort-style assisted living.
Hundreds took guided tours while many others walked through on their own to see Hilltop Grand Village’s many luxuries and 40 private apartments. Four apartments, representing four different styles, are staged with furniture to give visitors an idea of how they will look when furnished.
Hilltop staff members received many positive comments from visitors. Many wanted to know who decorated the facility, and some were surprised to learn it was Anita Whetstone, owner and Hilltop Grand Village service manager. She explained to guests that she found most of the furnishings and decorations in Wisconsin. She chose everything from the paint colors to the light fixtures and kept an eye open for items that would work in either a common area or a staged apartment.
